Payment Reasons
Description
This page contains the list of PaymentReasons with a short description for each. A PaymentReason is required to be entered for a Payout or a Transfer to another entity.
Some countries have a unique list of PaymentReason codes they will accept for either SWIFT or LOCAL Payouts, these countries are listed below. You will need to add a PaymentReason from their list in order for the payment to be sent to that country. All other countries will allow a payment to be processed using a PaymentReason from the Generic Payment Reason Codes list.
The below lists can be retrieved via the GET /payments/reason-codes endpoint. When making a request, you can enter one of the below countries, or "other" to get the generic list.
